I looked out my window today and saw these blooming and couldn't believe my eyes. Does this really mean winter is over??

Washington, DC

I'll be in DC April 12 - 15. It's going to be a busy four days as I'll be photographing something different every day. This means that I am pretty much booked my entire time there. I do still have time on Thursday (the 12th) in the afternoon from around 3 PM - 5:30 PM. This will be my last trip to DC for a while.

2008 Weddings, Lower Album Costs, and Double Offer Extended

On April 15th I will be releasing my 2008 prices. All 2008 events booked after that date will receive the new price list. 2008 weddings have until that date to secure me at my current rates. If your wedding is this year, my 2007 rates will still apply.

Good news! I have lowered the cost of my coffee table style albums. They now start at $775.

I am extending the double offer from this winter until May 31st. If you tell me that you read this reminder about the specials on my blog, I will double the print credit. People are always asking me about digital cameras, and I often start off by telling them that it's not just about megapixels. So when I came across this article in the NY Times I thought it would be a good thing to share with everyone. The title is "Breaking the Myth of Megapixels."

Fun Find

I was looking for something on one of my hard drives and came across this wedding sample. I recently heard from the mother of the groom that the couple are now expecting their first baby. Congrats to Erin and Aaron!

Broden at 8 months

Over the summer I met Broden and his family. He was just a wee newborn then. Now he's 8 months old and cute as ever.

Winter Weather?

Saying it's been a mild winter is an understatement. I photographed an 8 month-old over the weekend, and we actually went outside. Without coats or hats or gloves. Really remarkable. I will try to post some of the photos the week.

Chilly weather in Austin couldn't keep us from enjoying ourselves. Coming home to see snow on the ground was not so joyous. Here are some photos of Camryn and one of puppy dog, Riley.

Happy Thanksgiving

I can't believe Thanksgiving is already here! I swear it was October just yesterday...

This past Monday, while walking a dog at the ARL, I came upon a wild turkey. I have never seen one in person even though I know they are common here in Maine. How apropos that I would see one just before Thanksgiving.
