Bar Harbor

Later this summer I'm photographing a wedding in Northeast Harbor at the Asticou Inn. That weekend also happens to be my wedding anniversary (6 years) so the husband and I have decided to make a long weekend out of it. Because we are bringing the bambino we are going to need some space. Check out the awesome Carriage House we booked at the Harbour Cottage Inn in Southeast Harbor. It's pricey, but I have no doubt having the additional space and kitchen area will be handy with baby in tow.

I've never been to Bar Habor. Please share your favorite things to see and do there.

Oh, gosh. I *love* Bar Harbor. It's really one of my favorite places to visit, and I wish I got there more often. My best advice? Drive all around MDI- there is something worth stopping for around nearly every corner.

I just realized I didn't really give you any solid To Dos...

- popovers at Jordan Pond House in Acadia
- sunrise atop Cadillac Mountain
- breakfast at a place in Bar Harbor I can't remember the name of?!?! Driving into town on Rt 3/ Mt Desert Rd, it's tucked down on the right side behind an art gallery across from the town lawn. All the locals will know it.
-movie at the old theatre in Bar Harbor
-rent bikes in Acadia

Is that more helpful? ;)
