Amanda and Pete

Bufflehead Cove Inn
Kennebunkport, Maine

Nestled along the river not far very from the center of town is the Bufflehead Cove Inn. If you blink as you drive past the small sign you will miss the turn onto the small dirt road that takes you there. At the very end of the road is one of the sweetest spots I've had the pleasure of photographing. How Amanda and Pete found it was on everyone's minds as we all were charmed by the place. The wedding day was clear and bright -- a welcome change from the heavy rains that had blanketed New England for days. I think the highlight of the entire day for me was the actual wedding ceremony. Some ceremonies are short and sweet while others are religious and quite quiet, and almost all still make me get a bit choked up by the end. Somehow Amanda and Pete managed to make just about everyone sniffle back a few tears by the time they were officially Mr. and Mrs. It was extremely hard for me to come up with just a few images to share here so please click on the link below to see the slideshow. Congratulations to Amanda and Pete, and thanks to you and your wonderful families for letting me be a part of a truly memorable event!

It's become very common to see a bride wear a pair of flip flops at some point during her wedding day, but none have been as pretty as these.

Pete has a very musical family, and when his brother sang Marc Cohn's
True Companion he left everyone choking back the tears!

This yummy display greeted guests as they arrived at the inn for the ceremony.

I love this shot of one of the groomsmen getting into the music.
